Our trades today sucked (none) but picking up 2 d-men was smart. We have a lot of young players so its not like we need to stock up.

Pronger was a giant loss - how many d-men are like him in the league. 1 comes to mind - Chara.

So we are still in the hunt, inferior to Bruins and Rangers, but roll the dice and see what happens.

I would say this Jvr's last ditch chance with the team. If he doesnt AT LEAST improve his play hes first one out and that will ultimately bring the cup to this team. Jvr for shea weber or suter, maybe small move for another consistent scorer. Trade briere.. yea he shows up sometimes in the playoffs but is pretty much vacant the rest of the season. 7 mill 2nd line scorer that doesnt score, Time to goooo.
